The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq introduces the second model year for the brand’s new all-electric crossover, once again offering a combination of cutting-edge technology and sumptuous Caddy luxury. Now, GM Authority has learned that 2024 Cadillac Lyriq will also offer new seat colors and patterns.
At present, the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq offers two interior color ways, including Sky Cool Gray (gray) and Noir (black). Looking ahead, the introduction of the 2024 model year will expand on that to offer at least two new color ways. Per GM Authority sources, one of these new color ways will be black with white stitching and piping that runs down the center of the seat backrests, as well as around the side bolsters.
At present, the Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition features blue piping that runs down the center of the seat backrest in both Sky Cool Gray and Noir. By comparison, the new seat color way set to debut with the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq will feature a center design element in black that’s roughly 1 cm wide, replacing the blue piping found on the Debut Edition seats. This will then be surrounded by white piping, with three piping stripes per side. The outermost piping will be most prominent, while the inner piping will be slightly less visible.
Unfortunately, photos of the new seat colors and design are currently unavailable.
In addition to these updates for the interior, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq will also expand on the trim level lineup with the introduction of the Premium Luxury and Sport trims, per Cadillac’s Y trim level strategy. Other features expected to debut for the 2024 model year include a new head-up display, an available Rear Camera Mirror, and new wheels designs. What’s more, the Sport trim level will feature a new LED grille pattern, as GM Authority was the first to report.
The Cadillac Lyriq is also expected to gain a new door handle design, although this feature may be added later on in the 2024 model year, or even possibly with the 2025 model year.
At present, order banks for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq are full, and GM is now taking pre-orders for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. As a reminder, the Cadillac Lyriq features GM Ultium battery technology and GM Ultium drive motor technology, while under the skin, the Lyriq rides on the GM BEV3 platform. Production takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

the other is of course RED as usual
What are the new seat colors? Unless I’m missing something, there’s really just modified stitching and piping. Interior still only comes in basic black or generic gray.
When am I going to see one of these Lyriqs on the streets, driven by its lucky owner? I live in one of the top destinations in the country and a lot of fine cars are seen on the roads here – exotics, classics, lots of EVs. Where are the Lyriqs?
StuartH:
My LYRIQ ordered 5/19/22 (the earliest I could practically order it since the 2021 order window closed in 10 minutes and it was too small a funnel to get in line anyway);
I’m now told has been pushed back about 2-3 months…. NOW – I’m told LATE 4th quarter 2022 so that of course means AFTER CHRISTMAS.
My 2022 BOLT EUV (with the bad battery due to be replaced) was purchased JUNE 2021. Still no replacement battery and no clue as to when they will do it….
So under Mary Barra – GM has forgotten how to run a PRODUCTION LINE..
JEEZ.
I liked the brown that they offered in the Gen II Volt. I also like beige. Black sucks.
