2023 Chevy Trailblazer Gets Simplified List Of Interior Colors

The 2023 Chevy Trailblazer introduces the third model year for the latest third-generation crossover, debuting a handful of changes and updates compared to the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. Notably, these updates include a simplified list of interior colors.

GM Authority has noticed that each 2023 Chevy Trailblazer trim level is now available to order with just one interior color scheme, also known as a colorway. This stands in contrast to the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer, which offered two interior colorways for most trim levels.

As it stands now, 2023 Chevy Trailblazer LS and LT trim levels are now only available with the Jet Black colorway, whereas before both trim levels were available with either Jet Black, or Jet Black / Medium Ash Gray. A similar situation can be found with the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer Activ, which is not only available with Jet Black with Arizona accents, whereas previously the Activ trim level offered Jet Black with Arizona accents, as well as Jet Black / Almond Butter. Finally, the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer RS is available with the Jet Black with Red accents colorway, which was also the singular colorway on offer for the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer RS.

Notably, the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer also debuts an updated exterior paint list, with Zeus Bronze Metallic (paint code G7G), Oasis Blue (paint code GHC), and Satin Steel Metallic (paint code GYM) all deleted with the latest 2023 model year. To replace these colors, four new paint hues join the lineup, including Nitro Yellow Metallic (paint code GHS), Fountain Blue (paint code GLN), Sterling Gray Metallic (paint code GZB), and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat two-tone roof (paint code J3B).

The official 2023 Chevy Trailblazer online configurator is now live, as GM Authority reported this past May.

Engine options include the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine, rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Under the skin is the GM VSS-F vehicle set. Production for the North American market takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

  1. GM is going the wrong way. Just like the model T, you can get any color you want as long as it is black. Ugly jet black interior, I know they say it’s the most popular color, maybe that’s because that’s the only color dealers order to sit on the lot.

  4. I got into auto sales back in 1988 with a dealership that had Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Honda. Even back then Honda was very limited to the interior colors, but they still had 4 or so to pick from. But the GM brands had such a nice variety of colors to choose from, not only exterior but interior as well. I find it beyond sad that we are now at a point in this automotive world where our choices are which sized SUV/CUV you want wrapped around your black interior. Adding insult to injury, our exterior color choices boil down to 3 shades of gray, white, black and red for most brands.
