The Satin Black Front Splitter/Side Rockers Package (RPO code PCR) is now available to order on the 2023 Chevy Camaro, GM Authority has learned, after the feature was removed from the vehicle’s order books last month.
The Satin Black Front Splitter/Side Rockers Package is a dealer-installed, LPO level package and brings the following equipment to the sports coupe (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Satin Black rocker moldings (RPO STI)
- Satin Black front splitter, second generation (RPO SL2)
Customers can order this package on the Chevy Camaro in all trim levels except for the high-performance Chevy Camaro ZL1, and is offered on both the Coupe and Convertible models. The cosmetic package costs $1,995 to equip.
This change also means the Black Accent Exterior Package (RPO code PCK) is once again available to order. This package, which cost $4,095, was removed from the Camaro’s order books with the Satin Black Front Splitter/Side Rockers Package, as it includes the Satin Black rocker moldings, as well as the Satin Black front splitter. This package also includes the 20-inch 5-split spoke Satin Black wheels (RPO 5JX) when ordered with the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and LT1 trim levels, or the 20-inch 5-split spoke Satin Black wheels (RPO 57S) when ordered with the 1SS or 2SS trim levels.
Production of the 2023 Chevy Camaro in both the Coupe and Convertible body styles commenced at the GM Lansing Grand River Plant in Michigan on June 17th, 2022. As we reported previously, GM will apply minor changes to the Chevy Camaro for the 2023 model year, including the addition of the new Radiant Red and Sharkskin Metallic exterior colors. Radiant Red will be offered with the Camaro’s various exterior Design Package equipment groups, while Sharkskin Metallic will be available with the Shock and Steel Special Edition package. The Camaro will also ditch the optional interior trim kits and sport pedals kit from the order book.

That looks good.
Black Suede and we’ve been doing that since the 50s
I’m sure there will be an article tomorrow announcing this package is on constraint indefinitely….
Thank god no black wheels.
I can’t stand black wheels either. Look cheap, especially when dirty! How about GM give the Camaro more power. That’s what it needs!!
Black wheels look aggressive and slick if you take care of your car.
I prefer no black wheels, but there is a place for them with certain paint colors, and never flat black = cheap.
