2023 Chevy Camaro Adds These Two New 20-Inch Wheel Options

The 2023 Chevy Camaro is the eighth model year for the latest sixth-generation sports car, introducing a handful of updates over the preceding 2022 model year. Among these is the debut of two new 20-inch wheel options.

The 2023 Chevy Camaro’s two new 20-inch wheel options include the 20-inch 5-split spoke Black forged aluminum wheels, tagged with RPO code 56Z, and the 20-inch 5-split spoke Black forged aluminum wheels, tagged with RPO code Q7G.

While identical in name, these two options differ slightly. The new 56Z 20-inch 5-split spoke Black forged aluminum wheels are priced at $995, and are offered as an optional upgrade for 2023 Chevy Camaro 1SS and 2SS trim levels only. Meanwhile, the Q7G 20-inch 5-split spoke Black forged aluminum wheels are also priced at $995, but are offered as optional for 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, and LT1 trim levels only. To note, the Q7G 20-inch 5-split spoke Black forged aluminum wheels also require the RS Package, which is $1,950.

The two wheels have an identical design, with a split-spoke layout and matching Black finish. That said, the critical difference between the 56Z and Q7G wheels is with regard to overall wheel width, as the 56Z wheels include wider rear rims (9.5 inches in back and 8.5 inches up front).

Notably, the 2023 Chevy Camaro introduces new pricing updates as well, with the MSRP for 1LS, 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trim levels increasing by $800. Meanwhile, the MSRP for LT1, 1SS, and 2SS trim levels is now $1,800 more expensive, while pricing for the ZL1 is now $3,700 more expensive.

Notably, several dealer installed options were dropped with the introduction of the 2023 model year. Additionally, the 2023 Chevy Camaro Convertible now has reduced availability for the lowered suspension upgrade, per previous GM Authority coverage.

As a reminder, the 2023 Chevy Camaro can be had with one of four engine options, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LTG gasoline engine, the atmospheric 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, the atmospheric 6.2L V8 LT1 gasoline engine, and the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine.

The Chevy Camaro rides on the GM Alpha platform, with production taking place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant.

    1. Stop coming out with more black rims; no depth, no detail and looks like a missing piece of the vehicle. Up north, black rims (usually steel) are what we use for snow tires, that look is all about saving money by using the least expensive rim possible.

  6. Having a blk wheel option is fine, looks good with certain color and trims, as long as they have other options, like machined and chrome finishes too…. Wheels have always had trends, gold, chrome, magnesium, aluminum, steel, painted, wire, hub caps, dished, smaller, larger etc… Whats popular today, will be obsolete in a few years and we will be on to some other trend. I think its just the manufacturers trying to keep up with after market trends

  7. I I have a suggestion Chevrolet….instead of focusing on wheels why not focus more on the car as a whole… You let Dodge totally blow you out of the water because you have nothing exciting to offer with the Camaro except the same models for years plus you do nothing to market this car… Sad
