Certain 2023 Cadillac XT4 units will be shipped to dealers lacking functional ventilated seats due to ongoing supply constraints.
GM Authority learned this week that from the start of 2023 Cadillac XT4 production on June 10th, 2022 through to the September 4th, 2022 production date, certain 2023 Cadillac XT4 compact crossover models were shipped to dealers without ventilated seat cushion blower motors due to a supply constraint. Affected vehicles will have a window sticker with the RPO code 04O indicating it lacks the ventilated blower motors. Buyers will receive a $25 credit in exchange for the feature’s absence and affected units will be eligible for a retrofit at a later date.
Ventilated driver and front passenger seats (RPO code KU9) are included and only available on the Cadillac XT4 via the Comfort and Convenience Package for the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. This package costs $950 to equip on Premium Luxury models and $2,350 to equip on Sport models. Ventilated driver and front passenger seats are not available to order on the base Luxury trim in any capacity.
The 2023 Cadillac XT4 introduced a revised exterior paint options list, with Twilight Blue Metallic (paint code GA0), Radiant Silver Metallic (paint code GAN), and Infrared Tintcoat (paint code GSK) ditched in favor of Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT) and Argent Silver Metallic (paint code GXD). Argent Silver Metallic will not carry a price premium, however Radiant Red Tintcoat will.
As for the specs, the Cadillac XT4 is offered with only one engine option, specifically the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine. Output is rated at 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Routing output to the wheels is the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. Under the body panels, the XT4 rides on the GM E2 platform.
