Sand-Wrapped C8 Corvette Slammed On Vossen LC2-C1 Wheels

The C8 Corvette looks great and performs well right from the factory, but for some owners, stock is just the start. Such is the case with the customized C8 Corvette you see here, which is now draped in a custom wrap and rolls on some fresh Vossen wheels.

This particular C8 Corvette belongs to Gabe Florido from Las Vegas, Nevada, who went about upgrading his C8 Corvette with a list of custom parts. Let’s start in the corners, specifically with the Vossen LC2-C1 wheels tucked under the arches. These wheels are available in a range of different sizes, from 19 inches to 24 inches with regard to diameter, and 8.5 inches to 13 inches with regard to width, as well 48 different finishes to perfectly match whatever color scheme you’re going for. The new wheels are shod in some sticky Michelin tires.

This particular custom C8 Corvette is running a silver polished finish for the wheels, while the exterior body panels are covered in a custom wrap from Inozetek USA. The wrap color is dubbed Sand, and definitely makes this C8 Corvette stand out, working well with the silver wheels and black trim bits.

Also notable is the stance, with this mid-engine sports car now riding on AccuAir suspension to slam it right down onto the pavement. Final exterior touches include Racing Sports Concepts aero add-ons.

Interestingly, this C8 Corvette is also running some upgrades under the rear engine cover, specifically a new intake from Corsa, a new exhaust from Fabspeed, and some Kooks headers to boot.

As a reminder, the C8 Corvette Stingray cradles the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine just behind the cabin, rated at 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, under the skin, the C8 Corvette rides on the GM Y2 platform, with production taking place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

  1. Some how, I just Don’t see that as a Corvette color? I can see a police officer pulling you over for speeding and saying: “Pal, it’s your lucky day. I feel sorry for ya buying that color. If it was red, I’ld double it!” “Get out of here!”

  2. Reminds me of the days when that color was referred to as the now politically incorrect “flesh tone” .

Some colors just don’t make a nice car look like a nice car….
Like yellow or tints of orange.

    1. Metallic orange for years and years has been the color the designers chose to use to showcase futuristic and new model and concept cars, because its exciting and because its metallic, usually medium metallic, it shows off the cars lines. My favorite color, and the Copper Sunburst color on the initial CTS was what made me a Cadillac person, along of course with the styling and handling and everything else great about the car. They showed Cadillac can make cars not just for old guys, as the stereotype goes .. .only to mess things up in later years with their horrible marketing.
