GM has begun a Customer Satisfaction Program for certain 2022 Cadillac XT5 and 2022 Cadillac XT4 models to address an issue related to a missing accessory grille.
The problem: some 2022 Cadillac XT5 customers who purchased the LPO-level / dealer-installed Gloss Black grille (RPO code SJ9) never received the grille. Additionally, some 2022 Cadillac XT4 customers who purchased LPO-level / dealer-installed Grille, Galvano surround with Galvano finish (RPO code SJA) never received the grille.
The hazards: There are no known hazards associated with this particular Customer Satisfaction Program.
The fix: GM will give affected customers a reimbursement check, as both grilles are no longer available. Pricing for the Gloss Black grille for the 2022 Cadillac XT5 was set at $595, while pricing for the Grille, Galvano surround with Galvano finish for the 2022 Cadillac XT4 was set at $550.
Affected components: affected components include the LPO-level / dealer-installed Gloss Black grille for the 2022 Cadillac XT5, tagged with RPO code SJ9, as well as the Grille, Galvano surround with Galvano finish for the 2022 Cadillac XT4, tagged with RPO code SJA. The Gloss Black grille for the 2022 Cadillac XT5 was available for all trim levels, while the Grille, Galvano surround with Galvano finish for the 2022 Cadillac XT4 was available for Luxury and Premium trim levels, but was not offered for the Sport trim level.

Why did so many customers take delivery of these incomplete vehicles in the first place?
Just purchased a 2022 XT5 Sport off the lot 2 months ago with the Onyx package. All trim blacked out except the grille trim. Just had it wrapped in gloss black and it looks great. All set now along with the Trifecta tune and K&N cold air intake.
My new Cadillac XT5 was delivered without a heated steering wheel. I ordered this premium luxury vehicle with this option. Subsequent vehicles have thus option installed. Delivery was received with alert that the heated wheel would not be installed. Bad move from a
Previously loyal Cadillac customer.
Can the heated wheel be still installed with a retro fit?
