Costco Offers $1,000 Chevrolet Silverado HD Rebate

Incentive spending at GM has fallen to historic lows this year amid low inventory levels and extremely high demand for almost all models – especially full-size trucks and SUVs. For this reason, it’s been virtually impossible to come by a good deal on a new Chevy Silverado 1500 or Chevy Silverado HD this year, however the Costco Auto Club is now stepping up with an enticing $1,000 cashback offer on the full-size pickup.
From August 2nd through September 30th, 2022, cardholders at Costco can receive a members-only $1,000 incentive on the purchase or lease of a new 2021, 2022 or 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD model, which can be combined with any available Chevrolet incentives for which they may qualify. Customers must have been a Costco member by August 1st to qualify for the incentive and must take delivery of their new Chevy Silverado HD by September 30th.
“In the 10 years Costco Auto Program has partnered with Chevrolet to deliver member-only incentives, the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD pickup trucks have been among the top-selling vehicles during these promotions,” the American wholesale retailer said in a prepared statement. “Due to their popularity with Costco members, Chevrolet is providing a member-only incentive on its Silverado HD models.”
Costco members can register to receive their $1,000 purchase certificate, which contains a unique promotion code, by entering their information on Costco’s website. They can then go to a nearby Chevy dealer and present a digital or printed copy of the certificate to receive the value toward the vehicle purchase.
Order books for the 2023 Chevy Silverado HD opened May 5th, 2022, while production began at the GM Flint plant in Michigan on July 18th. The 2023 model year Silverado HD will also enter production at the GM Oshawa plant in Canada in September.
