Chevy Silverado Slammed On Vossen S17-16 40-Spoke Wheels

The Chevy Silverado is great as a practical work vehicle, but it can quickly be turned into a stylish street truck with just a few simple modifications, as seen with this 2017 Chevy Silverado LT riding on a new set of aftermarket wheels.
This particular Chevy Silverado LT is equipped with a set of Vossen’s 40-spoke S17-16 rollers with a Gloss Clear finish. According to the manufacturer, the wheels are available in 48 different finishes, with diameter sizing between 19 and 24 inches, and wheel width ranging between 8.5 inches and 13 inches. Pricing starts at $2,200 per wheel.
With its simple thin-spoke design and plus-sized diameter, the new wheels certainly make this Chevy Silverado LT stand out. The finish also plays nicely with the chrome detailing for the bumper, grille surround, and headlight surrounds, as well as the badging, all of which add up to make this pickup that much sleeker.
Of course, one of the most impactful components of this street truck build is the suspension, with aftermarket components slamming the body right to the pavement and tucking the Vossen wheels in nicely under those squared-off fenders. When parked, the tops of the wheels are hidden under the fender liners, with the entire body practically sitting on the ground. Looking over the owner’s Instagram feed (@slam_n_drag), we find that the truck is also equipped with a set of drag titanium blocks that create a spark show when cruising.
Final touches include a dark black tint for the windows, while the window surrounds and select bits of lower trim are also done in black.
This particular truck is at home in Miami, Florida, where we see the Chevy Silverado parked amid palm trees, lush green foliage, and a sandy beach. It’s a sweet setup, but, as many commenters point out, it’s probably not that easy to clean all those spokes. Still, the results speak for themselves:

Boy I would sure hate to clean these 40 spoke wheels especially if they get mud all over the inside of the spokes.
