Chevy Corvette Discount Non-Existent In August 2022

In August 2022, a Chevy Corvette discount remains non-existent as are any incentives on “America’s sports car.” But the 2023 Chevy Corvette Stingray is here and 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 is on the way. See details below.

Chevrolet Corvette Incentives

There are no Chevy Corvette discount offers during the month of August, and no special financing or lease incentives either. The 2023 Corvette Stingray is available to order via the online configurator tool which allows prospective buyers to choose their preferred trim level, body style, exterior and interior colors and options and features. Once the process is complete, the user can view a full pricing breakdown for their preferred build and also request a price quote from a local dealership for the vehicle.

The 2020 Chevy Corvette represented a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign) of the sports car, and marks the first model year for the eighth generation of the Corvette nameplate. The Chevy Corvette C8 was the Bow Tie brand’s first-ever production mid-engine sports car, and is the first Corvette model to have the engine behind the cabin since its inception in 1953. The Corvette C8 Stingray was the debut model.

GM introduced minor changes to the Corvette Stingray for the 2023 model year, the most significant change being the introduction of the new 70th Anniversary Edition package. Power in the 2023 Corvette Stingray comes from the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which is rated at 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The 2023 Stingray entered production at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky on May 23rd, 2022.

GM is now taking orders for the new 2023 Corvette Z06. A total of three trim levels are available, listed from bottom to top as 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ, with all three trims available in either a Coupe or Convertible body style. The Z06 will enter production in September.

The track-focused 2023 Corvette Z06 made its big debut late last year with a long list of updates and changes over the Corvette C8 Stingray, chief among which is the new race-bred, naturally aspirated, dual-overhead cam 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine. Output is rated at 670 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, while the flat-plane crank powerplant redline spins up to 8,600 rpm, making the Corvette C8 Z06 the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated V8 production car.

    Shocking. /s

  2. Exactly, it would be more shocking if every dealer sold them at the sticker price.

  3. In 2019, July. A C7 was $45 to 55 base price st dealers? and plenty in stock. Those cars are now worth more.

    1. Hardly. Someone selling a used C7 will find it is NOT worth more than someone selling a comparably equipped used C8. You need to compare apples to apples. Otherwise you are not really comparing facts, you are simply spinning data to support your opinion.

      1. Values are up on the C7 right now due to the shortages of the C8. Some folks are not willing to wait.

But to be fair my 2017 GMC is able to be traded at about what I paid new for it too. Just a crazy market right now.

C5 and 4 models are still low and bargains to be found. Just so many of them with low miles. Most people never drove the C5 daily,.

      2. My C7 is worth more than I paid for it 3 yrs ago. That’s a win, if I sell. I don’t care what anyone elses car sales for.

    2. Crazy deal Oct 19, got 3 price incentives and a lifetime power train. The increase alone is more than half of what I gave for my new C7. It would take $24K more, including the extra in sales tax to replace my ’19 with the same trim level ’23. When I retire in 10 yrs, it probably won’t have 10k mi on it. 3 pedal physical therapy.

  8. 12th of August u did a story, u said GM has 55,000 orders for C8.
Why would they discount or even take anymore orders. As u said that’s 2 years of production. Plus they also have Z06, maybe Zora or whatever other models are coming down the shoot.
It’s simple all they have to do is triple production.

  9. The title hook infers that discounts have been discontinued, when there have never been any C8 discounts. Slow news day, eh ?
