Cadillac CTS Gets Stuck Trying To Avoid A Traffic Jam: Video3
Every motorist knows the frustrating feeling of being stuck in slow-moving traffic, and while some may find it tempting to lash out over congestion, the vast majority of drivers just remain patient, turn on the radio or a podcast and wait for the bottleneck to dissipate. Unfortunately, not everyone is this even-tempered when behind the wheel – just take the Cadillac CTS driver in this video from /r/IdiotsInCars, for example, who managed to get their vehicle hung up on a median after trying to avoid a heavy traffic jam on I-95.
This video was shared to Reddit this week with the appropriate title ‘Entertainment in I-94.’ The original poster’s video was filmed from a dashboard camera as they travelled westbound on I-94, approaching exit 220B in Detroit for Conner Avenue. With the roadway congested, the two individuals with the dash cam begin talking about a white car that attempted to go around the traffic jam and cut into the Conner Avenue freeway exit over the median.
As they approach the exit, a white Cadillac CTS can be seen stranded on the grass median, with the underbody hoisted up by the curbs and the rear wheels freely spinning in the air. This is a rather comedic sight for the two folks in the car, who patiently waited to use the freeway exit ramp, and is also rather satisfying to watch for anyone who has been stuck in traffic and seen an errant motorist speeding down the median, or cutting people off as they weave in and out of traffic to make up time. We’re now left wondering how long this Cadillac CTS remained stuck on the median before it was towed away.
Check out the video embedded below for a funny reminder of why it’s always a good idea to remain patient – even in heavy traffic.
