As part of its recently advanced ambitious global future growth strategy, General Motors has just confirmed that it plans to introduce the all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV in the Middle East.
The automaker’s Middle East subsidiary confirmed that the all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV will be the fourth of 13 all-electric vehicles GM will introduce in the region through 2025, following the previously announced Chevy Bolt EUV, GMC Hummer EV pickup and Cadillac Lyriq. As such, the upcoming Blazer EV will launch in 2024 as part of the product onslaught with which the company hopes to lead the region’s EV market.
“Interest and appetite for EVs is skyrocketing in the Middle East, and with 13 all-new EVs confirmed for launch by 2025, GM’s clear goal is to be Number 1 in EVs in the region for that date,” said President and Managing Director of GM Africa and Middle East, Luay Al Shurafa, in a statement. “The Middle East is a critical market for GM, and we are aligning our plans with regional government ambitions to encourage adoption of green mobility and support net zero targets,” he added.
Notably, the Middle East becomes the third market outside of the United States and Canada where GM officially confirms that it will sell the all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, which made its world debut on July 18th in Detroit. In June, the company announced that the new 2024 Blazer EV is one of three Chevrolet electric vehicles earmarked for South America and subsequently confirmed the arrival of the EV crossover in Mexico – where the vehicle will be built.
Based on the GM BEV3 platform while using Ultium battery and Ultium Drive motor technology, the all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is one of the most strategic models with which Chevrolet hopes to change the game in the zero-emission category, and position itself as a major player in the fastest growing EV segment. The Blazer EV’s SS variant stands with up to 557 horsepower, representing GM’s first sporty, performance-focused crossover.
The all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is scheduled to officially launch in the Middle East in early 2024, several months after the zero-emission crossover’s arrival in all three North American countries. Like the rest of the markets confirmed to date, units of the 2024 Blazer EV for the countries of Southwest Asia will be manufactured at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

How about making enough for the USA FIRST!
At least gm is smart enough to stay out of europe with this fisher price inspired hatchback, where the big boys own the market.
“Fisher Price” lmao, Alex you hit it right on the head. That’s one unattractive vehicle! And GM in its infinite wisdom wants $66,000 for this? Laughable.
I agree imanjunk. Tired of seeing all these vehicles released in CHINA and it seems like everywhere else but the good ole US of A
China is the largest car market in the world, so no big surprise there.
Half of the profit goes to China as they own 50% of gm in China, and is used to support Russia, but that’s just nit picking.
Who in the world allowed this thing to market with fake fish gills?
By gm mandate a vehicle must have a large percentage of cheap plastic inside and out.
So when you still need even more plastic and are out of ideas, add fake fish gills to the front.
