2023 GMC Yukon Configurator Now Live

The online configurator for the 2023 GMC Yukon went  live on the premium truck, crossover and SUV brand’s website this week. This handy online tool allows prospective customers to select their preferred exterior and interior colors and view various options and equipment packages. At the end, they can receive a complete pricing breakdown and summary of their build ,which they can download to bring to their dealership or send it online.

One of the major changes applied to the 2023 GMC Yukon was the introduction of the Denali Ultimate trim level, which the automaker describes as the “most premium Yukon ever offered.” Highlights of this new trim include unique Vader Chrome exterior trim, model-specific 22-inch wheels, Alpine Umber full-grain leather upholstery, and genuine Paldao woodgrain interior trim. The GM Super Cruise driver assist system will also be offered as an optional upgrade

The Yukon also introduces four new exterior colors for 2023, including Titanium Rush Metallic, Frosted Pine Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat and Sterling Metallic. These colors will indirectly replace Satin Steel Metallic, Hunter Metallic and Cayenne Red Tintcoat in the vehicle’s order book.

As a reminder, the 2023 GMC Yukon will be available with three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, rated at 355 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 383 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, rated at 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax, rated at 277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. All three engine options connect to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

The current fifth-generation GMC Yukon rides on the GM T1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Why can you not get this green (or any green) on the AT4?? You can get Forest Metallic on a HD AT4. Seems like the most deserving trim level to receive a green paint…

Does anyone know if there are any major constraints to building the 2023 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate? If so, what are they if you know and how long until the constraint is rumored to be unconstrained?
