The online configurator for the 2032 GMC Sierra HD is live on the automaker’s website, allowing users to select their preferred options and features for the full-size heavy-duty pickup and view a complete pricing summary.
The 2023 GMC Sierra HD configurator allows users to select their preferred body style and bed length for the nameplate, along with the trim level and exterior and interior colors, among more. When they are finished, the configurator will display a complete pricing summary of their build, including the mandatory destination and freight charges.
Production of the 2023 GMC Sierra HD heavy-duty pickup began on July 18th, 2022, while the order books for the truck opened up on May 5th, 2022. The GMC Sierra HD is built at the GM Flint plant in Michigan.
The 2023 GMC Sierra HD precedes a complete model refresh that will arrive for the 2024 model year, rather than the 2023 model year as originally expected. This delay is the result of various setbacks stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, which pushed back the timetable for several GM vehicle programs. That means the 2023 GMC Sierra HD will introduce only minor changes prior to the more significant changes that are scheduled for the 2024 model year.
As a reminder, the current GMC Sierra HD is offered with two engine options, including the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, rated at 401 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 464 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm, connecting to the GM six-speed automatic transmission, and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, rated at 445 horsepower at 2,800 rpm and 910 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm, connecting to the Allison-branded GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

Thanks for update. Heads up on typo in first paragraph referencing 2032 model instead of 2023.
That’s NO typo, if you order one now, you may see it by 2032.
