Completing the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500’s trim level lineup are the AT4, Denali, Denali Ultimate and the AT4X trim levels. Pricing for the AT4 Crew Cab Short Box with the new 3.0L LM2 I-6 LZ0 engine and standard 4WD starts at $67,100, while the 6.2L L87 V8-powered AT4X is priced from $80,200. The Denali Crew Cab with the 5.3L L84 V8 and RWD is priced from $66,500, while the Denali Ultimate with standard 4WD starts at $82,195. GM has not yet provided pricing for the new 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition, which will offer more capability than the AT4X thanks to various American Expedition Vehicles components, however this model will be priced above the AT4X, likely making it the priciest Sierra 1500 available.
The 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 sees the introduction of the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine to the powertrain lineup, which replaces the 3.0L I6 LM2 engine option. This engine will offer more power and torque, in addition to other enhancements
In addition to the aforementioned LZ0 turbodiesel, the Sierra 1500 lineup will also include the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, and the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine.
Production of the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 will commence on August 29th, which applies to both Regular Cab and Crew Cab models. Meanwhile, production of Double Cab models will commence one week later on September 6th.

$40,000 for a base 2WD. We have reached ludicrous mode.
The base price on the Denali is over $6000 higher than the sticker was on the 21 Denali I took delivery of 16 months ago. That’s a healthy bump!
Yes, that’s a lot more money. But, don’t forget it comes with a completely new interior and additional features. Apples and oranges comparison.
So pay extra for features GM refused to provide on the last generation? What a deal. So are they are not ripping off now but were previously? The previous gen was priced like it had a real interior on it
If penny pinching gm would have put a decent interior on the 19,instead of a basically same interior as the 14-18 interior they would not have lost a lot of market share to Ram.
I have had an order in place since March.
Hasn’t been picked up yet.
Not pleased and now this!
Must be base price goes up $1000, and sticker prices goes up $1500 (Onstar) for a total of $2500 to consumer. And another $100 on destination. This is going to kill fleet sales.
With the exception of cutaway vans that U-Haul and Penske buy, what fleet buys GMC?
Besides, fleet sales are negotiated or bid, and have options like OnStar delete (RPO UE0).
No end in sight on these prices
At what point does it become just plain Not Worth It? Or have we passed that point in the last decade?
Considering all the big 3 run off of truck profits they may want to consider their pricing and product approach here or risk killing the golden goose. It will be a long time if ever before EVs made the $s per vehicle that trucks print.
Assuming this is all US pricing, does anyone have a line on Canada pricing?
Crack pipe pricing
If the Koreans ever launch a 1/2 ton in North America that is 75% the capability of domestic trucks, 50% of the features, with a 4×4 price starting around $30,000… the Big 3 are toast.
Production starts Aug 29th yet you cant configure one yet?
