2023 Chevy Tahoe Configurator Live

The online configurator tool for the 2023 Chevy Tahoe is now live on the automaker’s website, allowing users to view the SUV’s new available options and receive a complete pricing estimate on their preferred specification.

One of the noteworthy changes applied to the 2023 Chevy Tahoe is a new list of available exterior colors, with Satin Steel Metallic, Evergreen Gray Metallic and Cherry Red Tintcoat dropped to make room for Silver Sage Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat and Sterling Gray Metallic. The full-size SUV will also be available to order with GM’s hands-free, semi-autonomous Super Cruise technology for the 2023 model year, however this feature will not be available from launch due to the semiconductor chip shortage. The Enhanced Trailer View feature will also not be available from launch due to limited microchip supplies.

The 2023 Chevy Tahoe will continue with the same three engine options. These include the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84, which is rated at 355 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 383 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 engine, rated at 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm, and finally, the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax, rated at 277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. All three engine options mate to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

Updates to the Tahoe, as well as the closely related Chevy Suburban, are limited for the 2023 model year as GM is set to introduce a refreshed version of the two full-size SUVs for the 2024 model year.

Production of the 2023 Chevy Tahoe began at the GM Arlington plant in Texas on July 18th, 2022, As GM Authority reported previously. Pricing starts at $54,295 for the base LS trim level with rear-wheel drive and the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine.
