The 2023 Cadillac XT6 adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Argent Silver Metallic, Opulent Blue Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Red hue.
Assigned RPO code GNT and touch-up paint code WA-170H, Radiant Red Tintcoat is one of eight exterior colors offered on the luxury midsize-plus crossover, which include:
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Latte Metallic
- Rosewood Metallic
- Stellar Black Metallic
- Wilder Metallic
- Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)
- Opulent Blue Metallic (new for 2023)
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
The Radiant Red Tintcoat color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $1,125 to the crossover’s price. This color is available on all trims and can be combined with all interior colorways except for Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents.
For reference, here are all five available interior colorways offered on the 2023 XT6:
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium accents
- Cirrus with Jet Black accents
- Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents
- Kona Brown Sauvage with Jet Black accents
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents
The 2023 Cadillac XT6 represents the fourth model year for the first-generation crossover. The 2023 model year brings only a few small updates and changes over the preceding 2022 model year, including several minor package-related changes plus the the aforementioned exterior colors.
As a reminder, the Cadillac XT6 crossover is offered with two engine options, starting with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard and only available on the base Luxury trim level. Meanwhile, the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, is standard on the higher end Premium Luxury and Sport trims. Output is routed through the GM nine-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive standard, and all-wheel drive available as an extra-cost option on Luxury and Premium Luxury, while being standard on Sport.
The XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform and production for North America takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. The 2023 Cadillac XT6Â began rolling off the assembly line on June 10th, 2022.

I love red vehicles but the new Radiant Tintcoat is not as radiant as the last red tintcoat. I like the old color better.
