The 2023 Cadillac XT6 represents the fourth model year for the first-generation crossover. The 2023 model year brings only a few small updates and changes over the preceding 2022 model year, including several minor package-related changes plus the the aforementioned exterior colors.
As a reminder, the Cadillac XT6 crossover is offered with two engine options, starting with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard and only available on the base Luxury trim level. Meanwhile, the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, is standard on the higher end Premium Luxury and Sport trims. Output is routed through the GM nine-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive standard, and all-wheel drive available as an extra-cost option on Luxury and Premium Luxury, while being standard on Sport.
The XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform and production for North America takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. The 2023 Cadillac XT6Â began rolling off the assembly line on June 10th, 2022.

Yawn…biding our time until the 3 row version of the Lyriq replaces this. And what a shame; had GM had a great opportunity here to deliver a world-class 3-row CUV, despite that it sits on a GMC Acadia. The 7 year-old Volvo XC90 still runs circles around the XT6 in design, interior, technology and overall value.
What is with GM??? Can’t Mary stick with set colors for each model for a full year of vehicle production??? Holy Crap! the only colors customer can be sure of is black and white. Watch Mary screw that up too…
