First introduced for the 2022 model year, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing returns for 2023 to offer the same supercharged, track-ready performance and luxury-laden cabin as the initial model year. Now, however, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is currently unavailable to order with a certain seating option.
According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is currently unavailable to order with the Front bucket high-performance Full Semi-Aniline Leather Seats with Mini-Perforated inserts, Custom Quilting and Carbon Fiber front seatbacks. The seating option is unavailable to order as the result of a supplier issue.
The seating option is normally priced at $8,090, and was previously available in three interior colorways, including (relevant color codes listed in parentheses):
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents (HMR)
- Natural Tan with Jet Black accents (HJC)
- Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents (HJD)
Standard seating in the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing includes the Front bucket Leather Seating Surfaces with Mini-Perforated inserts, which are available in a single colorway, specifically Jet Black with Jet Black accents (RPO code HGA).
Although the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing’s Front bucket high-performance Full Semi-Aniline Leather Seats with Mini-Perforated inserts, Custom Quilting and Carbon Fiber front seatbacks are currently unavailable to order, the performance sedan still offers the optional Front bucket high-performance Leather Seating Surfaces with sueded front seatbacks. This latter seating option is priced at $2,890, and is available in the following colorways:
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents (HEA)
- Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents (HEB)
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is equipped with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Under the skin is the GM Alpha II platform. Production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
