Take A Closer Look At The GMC Sierra’s All-Weather Floor Liners: Video

The refreshed 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 is made for all the usual light-duty pickup truck activities, and naturally, such activities will result in the occasional (or frequent) excursion onto dirt, mud, or otherwise messy surface. As such, protecting the overhauled cabin space is a top priority, and to this end, the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 is offered with Premium All-Weather Floor Liners, as featured in the following exclusive GM Authority video.
Hosted by GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft, the video focuses on the interior of the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4X, although these all-weather floor liners are available across the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 trim level lineup. We did quite a bit with the new AT4X, including an exhaust note tour and exhaust note comparison with an AT4 with the Performance Exhaust, a look at the lighting setup in the dark, and even a little mudding, so check out our previous coverage for more information on all that.
Back to the floor liners. The 2022 GMC Sierra offers Premium All-Weather floor liners with removable floor mat for the first row, as well as the Premium Interlocking All-Weather floor liners with removable floor mat for the second row, protecting the floors up front and in the rear. Some of the standout features of these beauties include a molded fit and finish that hugs the footwell with a nearly imperceptible division between the truck and the floor liner, which is what you want to protect the cabin.
The floor liner snaps into the footwell to keep it secure, while the top carpet mat inside the floor liner is also removable to make it easy to clean only what’s dirty without removing the entire liner itself. The design also reveals a rubberized portion underneath the removable carpet mat for more protection, as needed.
The video details the front and the rear floor liners, with a similar fit and finish, as well as similar features. However, the rear stands out for its interlocking design that keeps the passenger’s side and driver’s floor liners neatly connected, making it that much more secure.
To note, the floor liners are equipped as standard on AT4 and AT4X trims, and offered as optional for the rest of the lineup. Pricing is $130 for both sets together on Elevation, SLT, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trim levels, and require the spray-on bedliner offered for $545 for Elevation and SLT trims. The spray-on bedliner is standard for AT4, AT4X, and Denali trims, while the Denali Ultimate gets a carbon fiber bed. The liners are not available for Pro or SLE trims.

I have a 2022 GMC Acadia Denali with the Floor liners that are molded. Thankfully, they do NOT have carpet as that will only attract dirt and moisture. My second & third-row mats interlock and the storage mats not only protect behind the third-row seats but also the backs of the third-row seats as well. My vehicle came with the Denali carpet masts for all three rows but I have not installed them… I put the molded floor liners in and have left them in to protect the carpet. If there is a special event to go to, I will replace the molded mats with the carpet mats for the occasion. IMO, the carpet on the rubber mats is just a crap collector.
agreed, they are over engineered POS. And they surely do not fit as good as the guy in the video says they do. Look at the gap at the front kick panels. Terrible.
“Overengineered” and “POS” are definitely not the words to describe these liners Galen and I doubt you’ve ever used or even seen these liners in real life. I have these in my Silverado and they are really good. Fit is perfect, they look really good and are easy to wash out. The gap at the front is there to absorb the impact of the driver’s foot over the dead pedal.
Also you must be new here. The “guy in the video” is Alex Luft, who is the foremost journalist on all things GM and is an editor at GMauthority. I’ve been following his work and he calls it like it is – if it’s good, he’ll say it’s good… if it’s bad, he’ll say it’s bad.
The carpet dresses them up a bit but is just a moisture trap… I have the full set of non-carpeted GMC Floor liners for all three rows of my Acadia Denali, plus the rear cargo and third-row backrests have the same liners on them as well… I just do not like the carpet. My liners have high sides on them as well.
@Chuck I do not have to see them in real life to know what junk they are. Your “excuse” for the poor fitment is really stretching the truth. The Fitment is a screw up, sorry if you can’t agree to that. I could care less who Alex Luft is. I am not going to bow at his feet just because of who he is. I am a leader, not a follower. If you want to keep following someone, go right ahead. Leaders are stronger than followers. Alex is not going to put GM down because he knows if he does, he will be out the door. He is bought and paid for reviewer. A true reviewer has not been bought out by anyone. You have not learned that as of yet. Never trust a reviewer who has some skin in the game.
Shhhhh, that’s tomorrow’s article… do not spoil the surprise.
If it goes on constraint, you’ll hear about here first. Happy now Dee?
SO I have a 2022 GMC Sierra SLT refreshed that was ordered with the removeable floor liners. This truck replaces my 2017 Sierra SLT, My 2014 Sierra SLT. and 2011 Denali. Allordered with floor protection. ALL of the previous trucks were delivered with the “cheesy” black carpet mats that can be used as “summer” matts or if I get all dressed uo go to a wedding or something.
Point is-The latest 2022 Refreshed did not include the cheesy cheap black carpet matts that are paid for as part of the SLT package. Apparently someone at GM decided not to send them anymore. CHEAP !
my new 2022 gmc slt has the old style all rubber floor mats like my 2018 slt had. i liked them a lot better than i would a piece of carpet in the middle of them to collect water and lay there and rot. but that’s just opinion .
Anyone have part numbers on these floor liners? I cannot for the life of me find these numbers.
Any help would be great!
I can’t find them either. I called the local dealerships, and then went straight to GMC and they are not in their system, nor have any of the people I spoke with, ever heard of them. I have a 22 Denali with the Dark Walnut interior and I am being told that I can’t even get all weather mats with the carpet inserts or otherwise, for my interior color. All they have on their site are Black or Ash Gray. Seems a little ridiculous to me.
Where can I find the Premium floor liners for my 2023 sierra 1500 Denali since my local dealer can’t find them?
These mats are very illusive!!!
They are no where to be found
I have a friend who has these in his 2022 AT4. The all weather mats are really nice and the removal carpet inserts are ideal. My 2023 AT4 came with all weather rubber mats – no carpet inserts. I’d also like to get these that are covered in the write up, but they are apparently no where to be found. Any part number or info on availability would be great.
I have the GM all weather floor liners for my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 and love them. The problem is that I bought a used set that have the Chevrolet logo on them. The logos are removable and interchangeable, but I can’t find anywhere to purchase GMC logos for the liners. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mr. Luft, any idea where they can be purchased? Thanks in advance
Dan, do you happen to have the part number(s) for the used mats you purchased?
Can you provide the part number behind the mats? thanks
Can someone post the GM part number for the rear floor mat in the video?
Where can these be purchased? Cannot find them anywhere.
