Offered as an “associated accessory,” the Roll-N-Lock power-retractable tonneau cover is engineered to fit not only Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks, but can also fit the heavy-duty Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD.
Made from aluminum, the cover includes a powder-coated matte black finish which helps to resist scratches and UV rays. Weather-related elements, such as rain and snow, are also kept out of the bed to protect cargo. Furthermore, the tonneau cover includes a theft-resistant hinge to prevent break-ins, as well as a lockable design.
Critically, the new tonneau cover uses a single button for electrically assisted operation, making for easy access to whatever happens to be stored underneath. The electric operation also allows the cover to be stopped anywhere along the bed rail, and will even stop if an object is detected as obstructing the cover. A single electric motor opens and closes the cover with remote operation via a key fob.
Maintenance is easy, as the hard tonneau cover is car wash safe. Notably, the hard tonneau cover can support heavy snow loads, but is not designed to be stood on and will not support larger items.
Final details for this Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra power-retractable tonneau cover includes exposed stake pockets, as well as rack and accessory compatibility thanks to the T-slot integrated MaxTrack System rail design, maximizing cargo management as needed.
Pricing for the Roll-N-Lock power-retractable tonneau cover is set at $2,579. The cover will stretch across the entirety of the rear truck bed, with the install kit including the cover, the operating key fob, bed rails, installation hardware, and instructions.
Notably, the hard tonneau cover is not permanently fixed to the truck, and can be removed using tools, if desired. The accessory also comes with a non-GM warranty through Roll-N-Lock, limited to 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

that is a new high for a cover
I’ve owned a couple of the manual versions by this same manufacturer. Quality products. Not sure I’m onboard with the electric operation because the manual is easy, works well, no motor to worry about and fob to keep track of. The cover locks with a key and integrates into the bed so that it is secure when the tailgate is closed and locked. Nice product.
It would be a flashy touch if GM would intergrate the bed cover controls into their existing fob somehow I suppose. No need for extra keys or fobs
Cool item but it does make a small bed smaller. Not easy to take off either.
Not that practical if your snow or ice country . A lot of crunching hard for the cover and motor .
