Refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse Launched In Chile

General Motors just launched the refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse in Chile, the second country in South America where Chevrolet‘s full-size crossover is sold after its recent launch in Colombia.
The refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse arrived in Chile with its new front-end styling and other novelties to complete the renewal of the brand’s utility vehicle family, with nine nameplates ranging from the Chevy Groove to the Chevy Suburban. The Chilean market is the country with the largest offer of Chevrolet utility vehicles worldwide.
“New Traverse hits the market with a renewed design and with safety and technology equipment, which make up a unique vehicle in its segment,” said Sales Director of GM Chile, Gustavo Colossi, in a statement. “This vehicle completes the renewal of our portfolio of SUVs and is aimed at those people who have a daring lifestyle and, at the same time, want a spacious, comfortable vehicle with the best features,” he added.
Unlike the two variants revealed earlier this year in Colombia, the refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse launches in Chile in three trim levels: LT, RS, and Premier. All include the latest infotainment system and a full suite of advanced driving assist systems.
The 2022 Chevy Traverse for the Chilean market features the exact same powertrain offered in other countries, consisting of the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY engine that develops 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, matched to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. All three variants are offered exclusively with an all-wheel drivetrain.

The refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse is available throughout the official dealer network in the South American country. It’s of the largest utility vehicles on the market, and the only crossover capable of transporting up to eight passengers in LT trim. The RS and Premier variants are equipped with second-row captain’s chairs for a capacity of seven passengers. Here are the prices of the 2022 Traverse in Chile:
- 2022 Traverse LT: 35,990,000 pesos (about $39,230 at the current exchange rate)
- 2022 Traverse RS: 38,990,000 pesos ($42,500)
- 2022 Traverse Premier: 40,490,000 pesos ($44,150)
