Summer is a great time to break out the toys and head out for some fun, whether it’s taking the boat to the lake, taking the kayaks to the river, or taking the bikes out on the trail. Of course, depending on what summer activity you’re into, you may be trailering the toys to your chosen destination, so to that end, Chevy Accessories is offering 15 percent off trailering equipment this month.
The new discount applies to the MSRP for items sold on the Chevy Accessories website under the Trailering category. The 15-percent allowance is based on the total MSRP of parts in order, and excludes tax, shipping, and installation. The offer is only available when ordering online, with orders made through a dealership site also offered with a coupon. To note, this 15-percent discount is not available in combination with any other offers or discounts, and is subject to availability. The deal also excludes non-accessory items.
Interested customers can take advantage of the 15-percent discount through August 1st, 2022.
A few examples of Chevy Accessories designed for trailering include trailer hitches, trailer hitch mounts and wiring components, brake controller modules, and more.
Indeed, one of the most popular Chevy vehicles for towing is the Chevy Silverado, which offers a selection of powertrain and drivetrain configurations to accommodate customer needs. The latest Silverado can be had with the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and finally, the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine.
As GM Authority covered previously, the turbocharged 2.7 I4 L3B gasoline engine can tow a maximum of 9,500 pounds, the 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine can tow a maximum of 11,200 pounds, and the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 and 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax can both tow 13,300 pounds. This latter figure is particularly impressive for the diesel engine, which got a significant towing performance boost for the refreshed 2022 model year, up 4,000 pounds as compared to the tow rating prior.

Lol Too Funny !
You can’t even purchase a truck say nothing about options….I have called over 20 Dealer in Newengland and all i get is good luck we can’t get them and the one they have listed are in transit or are already spoken for!
Try shopping “dealer inventory” online… If you see something, call the dealer and reserve it… I did it that way and found the exact vehicle with the exact options and paint that I wanted… It took a week and a half until it was in my driveway… My daughter ordered the same vehicle through the dealer and it took over 5 months for her to take delivery
Lol I’ve been doing this for a year now…I have very specific needs ! Lol i really don’t want a 2.7 trail Boss!!!!
