Buick Encore Pricing
For reference, here are the 2022 Buick Encore starting MSRPs by trim level, which includes the $1,195 destination freight charge and a new $1,500 mandatory three-year OnStar & Connected Services Plan:
- Preferred FWD – $27,295
- Preferred AWD – $27,915
The Buick Encore received several minor changes and updates for the 2022 model year, including deletion of the base Encore 1SV trim level, making Preferred the exclusive trim. This marks the tenth model year for the first-generation subcompact crossover. As noted above, the Encore will be dropped after the 2022 model year.

I realize that this story says the Encore will be dropped after 2022 and we’ve all been expecting that. But, for what it’s worth, Automotive News, in its latest issue with the Future GM Product Pipeline, states the Encore “will end production or be redesigned.” I’m surprised that they aren’t more sure of the facts.
Encore GX is it being dropped also?
