2023 GMC Hummer EV Paint Color Names Revealed

The upcoming 2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup will eventually offer a choice of seven exterior paint colors, GM Authority has learned.
Each of the seven paint colors carries a space-themed name. They are as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Afterburner Tintcoat (GC5)
- Deep Aurora Metallic (GXN)
- Interstellar White (GAZ)
- Meteorite Metallic (GNO)
- Supernova Metallic (GKK)
- Tide Metallic (G7X)
- Void Black (GBA)
While the names are creative, they may not give an accurate idea of what hues they will be. For the sake of simplicity, Meteorite Metallic will be gray, Deep Aurora Metallic will be a dark bronze color, Afterburner Tintcoat will be orange, Tide Metallic will be blue, and Supernova Metallic will be dark blue. Photos of each color have not yet been released.
Interstellar White and Void Black are no-charge colors. The other five exterior colors will be available at an extra cost, but pricing has yet to be revealed. Moonshot Green Matte was planned for the Pickup, but GM decided to reserve it for the 2024 Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 instead.

It’s worth noting that all 2022 Hummer EV Pickup Edition 1 units are painted in Interstellar White. Initially, the Edition 1 units were expected to last for just one model year. However, as exclusively reported by GM Authority, production of the Hummer EV Edition 1 may be extended into the 2023 model year in order to get through existing customer orders.
Power in the Hummer EV Edition 1 comes from an Ultium Drive tri-motor powertrain producing 1,000 horsepower, which is fed by a 212 kWh Ultium lithium-ion battery pack. This enables a zero to 60 mph run in about three seconds, while providing an EPA-certified 329 miles of driving range.
