The 2023 Chevy Silverado light-duty pickup arrives as the fourth model year of the latest fourth-generation nameplate, debuting a handful of updates and changes over the fully refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado. Now, GM Authority has learned that the previous constraints affecting the 2023 Chevy Silverado’s park assist features have been resolved.
According to GM Authority sources, the park assist feature constraints for the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 were resolved as of July 11th production. The constraints previously affected the Rear Park Assist feature (RPO code UD7) for WT, LT, RST, and LT Trail Boss trim levels, which offered the feature as an optional upgrade, but not the Chevy Silverado ZR2, which offered Rear Park Assist as standard. Rear Park Assist is not offered on 2023 Chevy Silverado Custom Trail Boss trim levels.
The constraint also affected the Front and Rear Park Assist feature (RPO code UD5) for the 2023 Chevy Silverado LTZ trim level, but not the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country. Front and Rear Park Assist feature is normally equipped as standard on both trim levels.
To note, the Front and Rear Park Assist feature is still under constraint for the 2023 Chevy Silverado HD as of the start of regular production on July 18th, as GM Authority covered previously.
The 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 will introduce the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, which will arrive as the “second iteration” of the Duramax 3.0L six-cylinder powertrain after the previous LM2. What’s more, the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 deletes two exterior paint options, including Cherry Red Tintcoat and Silver Ice Metallic, while three new paint colors will be available.
Additional powertrain options include the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, as well as the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine and naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. Chevy Silverado 1500 production takes place at the GM Silao plant in Mexico, the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana, and the GM Oshawa plant in Canada.

I like the Silverado 6.2 from 2016 to 2018, even with used trucks some are overprice, compare to other trucks they stand out in the crow, and we’ll customize. But I’m still looking around but they the electric trucks are coming soon and it will be no gas around any more and don’t have want to spend to much money and it will be no gas. Thank you.
It will either be lines for gas or rolling blackouts. At least one of those will last you a week once full and the truck costs half the price of the other.
My suspect is that in a couple years policy will reverse, and with less and less moderates gas will be back down to 2$ a gallon and EV subsidies will end.
When should I expect the missing rear assist park in my 2022 siverado
If you need Chinese microchips to help you park it, the only constraint is your driving abilities.
Hi! Is there any information regarding the 2023 Silverado regular cab? Will there be different trim options (RST, LT ie.) and will the new dash be available in the 2023 regular cab? Thank you
