The 2022 Cadillac Escalade was not available to order with the Radiant Package for the majority of its production run, however this will change for the 2023 model year, GM Authority has learned. This cosmetic exterior package will once again be available to order on the 2023 Cadillac Escalade, giving customers another way to personalize the vehicle on the spec sheet.
The Cadillac Escalade Radiant Package is tagged with RPO code PDV and is offered on the Premium Luxury and Premium Luxury Platinum trim levels on the 2023 Cadillac Escalade. It’s not available to order on the 2023 Cadillac Escalade in the Luxury, Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels, and is also unavailable with the new performance-focused 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V model.
The Radiant Package is offered as an LPO-level upgrade on the 2023 model year Escalade, which means it will be installed by the dealer, as opposed to at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced. The package content includes a number of aesthetic enhancements for the SUV’s exterior (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 22-inch 12-Spoke Chrome alloy wheels (SET)
- Bright Sport mesh grille with Galvano surround (SJ9)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)
- Cadillac crest puddle lamps (S3I) (Premium Luxury only)
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade is available with two powertrain options, including the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, rated at 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm, as well as the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax, rated at 277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Both engine options connect to the GM 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission.
Under the skin, the fifth-gen Cadillac Escalade rides on the GM T1 platform, and features a new independent rear suspension. Production takes place exclusively at the GM Arlington production facility in Texas.
