2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Pricing Revealed

The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the second model year for the range-topping performance sedan, and the fourth model year for the Cadillac CT5 nameplate. Critically, GM Authority has uncovered a significant pricing change between the upcoming 2023 CT5-V Blackwing and the initial 2022 model year.

According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing ups the MSRP by $7,000 as compared to the initial 2022 model year. This pricing increase applies to models equipped with the standard manual six-speed transmission, which now starts at $92,390, as well as models equipped with the optional 10-speed automatic transmission, which now start at $95,565. Both prices include the destination freight charge (DFC), which is set at $1,395.

In addition to this significant pricing increase, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will also offer the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system as an option, as GM Authority exclusively covered recently. The driver assist tech will be available in conjunction with the Super Cruise 2 package (RPO code WKA), which adds in the Super Cruise feature (RPO Code UKL) as well as a leather-wrapped Super Cruise steering wheel (RPO code N30). To note, Super Cruise is only available in conjunction with the optional 10-speed automatic transmission, and cannot be paired with the standard six-speed manual gearbox.

Further updates over the initial 2022 model year include the deletion of four exterior paint colors, specifically Satin Steel Metallic (paint code G9K), Shadow Metallic (paint code GJI), Infrared Tintcoat (paint code GSK), and Dark Emerald Frost (paint code G7W), while four new hues will be added to the lineup, including Radiant Red Tintcoat (RPO code GNT), Argent Silver Metallic (paint code GXD), Midnight Steel Metallic (paint code GXU) and Maverick Noir Frost (paint code GNW).

Finally, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will also offer an enclosed shipping carrier option, once again per exclusive GM Authority coverage.

Under the hood, the CT5-V Blackwing features the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Under the skin is the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  1. Prices across the board have increased by 38-42% since December of 2020 (US Dept. of Labor Statistics). Beef, poultry, fish, aluminum, steel, iron, vehicles, electronics, etc., etc., etc.. A $7,000 increase for the CT5-V BW? Geesh!!!

    2. When you start it for the first time and hear the burble of that supercharged V8, then accelerate down the road, I’d have to imagine the answer would be a resounding Yes.

      1. $100k for a car with a “luxury” car with an interior from 2014. Great.

        1. Or take Mr Mike’s approach to life of never being satisfied.

He wants a bigger screen installed because that’s “luxury”. Then he’ll complain that he has to purchase OnStar so that he can effectively use all of that new tech that goes with the larger screen.

Reality is, professional reviews disagree with your comment that the interior is from 2014.

  2. Loving my March 2021 C8. Sticker was $60,000 plus options bringing it to 85k. That was only 17 months ago. The world has changed since then………

  3. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR A MOTOR THAT SHOULD BE IN A CADILLAC IN THE FIRST PLACE. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED CADILLAC NO LONGER MAKES A LUXURY CAR, SINCE THERE IS NO CT6 OR CT8. I AM ALSO NOT PAYING $300,000 FOR WHAT SHOULD BE THE CT8.

  4. Profile looks way too much like a Nissan…
    Nothing about it says $100K…
The motor is taken from a $65,000 Chevy. Why does it cost so much in a GM Maxima? Because of the 2 extra doors? Whatever…

  5. …..and don’t forget the dealer markups which at my Cadillac dealer are as follows…

    CT5….$5,000
    CT5V….$10,000
    CT5 Blackwing….$50,000
    Escalade….$10,000
    Escalade V…..$50,000

Every vehicle has a markup the cheapest being $5,000…….and what amazes me is that people are paying it……….and lets not forget the sold out Lyriq…..$25,000…..no Cadillac in my future.
