The 2023 Cadillac CT4 arrives as the fourth model year for the four-door luxury sedan, introducing only a few small changes over the previous 2022 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned when the start of regular production for the 2023 Cadillac CT4 is scheduled to begin.
According to GM Authority sources, production of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 is slated to begin on July 11th, 2022. Production will once again take place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
Compared to the preceding 2022 model year, the 2023 Cadillac CT4 will delete five paint options from the lineup, specifically Diamond Sky Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Metallic, Garnet Metallic, and Infrared Tintcoat. In their stead, the 2023 model year introduces three new hues with Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic, and Midnight Steel Metallic. Notably, the 2023 Cadillac CT4 also deletes the optional Diamond Sky Special Edition Package from the options list.
As for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, the performance model will no longer be available in Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Metallic, Infrared Tintcoat, or Dark Emerald Frost, while Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic, Midnight Steel Metallic, and Maverick Noir Frost (limited availability) will join the paint list.
To note, the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing will be offered with an enclosed shipping carrier option as well.
As a reminder, the Cadillac CT4 is available with three engine options, depending on the trim level selected. These include the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, as well as the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and uprated to 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque in the CT4-V. Meanwhile, the top performer in the lineup, the CT4-V Blackwing, is equipped with the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. Providing the bones is the GM Alpha 2 platform.
