Comments

  1. With so few vehicles on the dealer lots, taking delivery by July 5th is only possible in two scenarios. 1. You take what ever vehicle is available in most likely a large search area. 2. You have your dealer find you what you want doing a dealer trade – encouraging the trading dealer to jack up the price, because many dealers likely want his vehicle.
gm says they do not condone dealers selling above MSRP, but these take-delivery-in-less-than-a-month promos create fertile ground for their dealers to screw the customer.
Instead of “take delivery by July 5th” change it to “order by July 5th.” Then the customer can pick the dealer and deal, and not be held hostage by what vehicle is out there.
