Stand-up comedian and actor Gabriel Iglesias, widely known by his nickname Fluffy, has decided to part ways with this 2015 Chevy Camaro Trans Am Bandit Edition.
This fifth-generation Chevy Camaro was transformed into a modern-day Pontiac Firebird Trans Am recreation by the experts over at Trans Am Depot. This particular car is number 20 of just 77 so-called ‘Bandit Edition’ models produced by the tuning shop, which featured the same black and gold colorway as the Firebird that was featured in the 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit. All Trans Am Bandit Edition models were also hand-signed by Reynolds himself.
While Fluffy is known as a dedicated car enthusiast, he barely drove his 2015 Chevy Camaro Trans Am Bandit Edition. This car has been driven just 1,225 actual miles since it rolled off the assembly line seven years ago – equivalent to just 175 miles a year. Under the hood is a naturally-aspirated 6.2L LS3 V8 engine, which is paired with the factory six-speed manual transmission. In addition to the obvious Firebird-inspired exterior modifications, this car also features aftermarket front and rear sway bars, removable T-tops and a Katzkin leather interior with stitched Bandit logos on the headrests, gauge faces, center console and floor mats.
This car is set to cross the auction block at Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming Las Vegas sale, which will kick off on June 30th and conclude on July 2nd. It’s being offered with no reserve price and will also be sold with certification paperwork from Trans Am Depot, as well as the Bandit-branded case, hat and gloves that were originally sold with the vehicle.

The car looks like a Pontiac Firebird TransAm. It is not a 2015 Camaro.
The car was built off a 2015 Camero… Technically, that is what it is… BTW, Trans Am Depot does amazing work…
Agreed.. Damn shame the Obama idiots FORCED GM to kill Pontiac.. the Firebird would have looked sweet from the factory.
It looks like someone didn’t read the article. They just looked at the picture
The original Pontiac Trans Am and 2nd gen Chevy Camaro was the same car, just with different decorations.
If you look at a Pontiac Trans Am and a 2nd gen Camaro, they are almost identical except for the front grille. They are both GM products after all.
Not surprising. I doubt he can even fit in the car anymore.
Sorry for him. Life is not about owning stuff. It is about experiencing stuff, and sharing it with people who matter. To me, that is the true value stuff. What a fine weekend cruiser. His only memory, his only story will be: He had it.
