  1. My dealer has no idea when I can place an order for a 2023 Bolt EUV premier (formerly LT2 in 2022 ?)
When can orders be placed and when does 2023 production start ?

  2. Just talked to dealer yesterday. Only Bolt EUV’s on the lot. But can’t sell or even test drive them as they’re still waiting for the replacement batteries since the current ones start on fire while charging.

    1. They do not start on fire while charging. Only a possibility of fire just like any other car on the planet.

      1. Yes they do! Multiple house fires from them being charged inside the garage.

        1. Read the comment. I said POSSIBILITY of fire. Some evs have caught on fire but not many.

      2. What are you nuts. Yes they do start on fire. Why do you think they’re not selling them until they get the replacement batteries.

  3. My dealer just ordered a 2023 Bolt EUV for me. Pricing had just shown up in his system.

As for those buying ’22 models, good luck getting it by July 5th. All the ones I’ve seen are “in transit” with the dealer having no clue as to arrival date.

  4. Looks like – whatever few are offered for sale in 2022, that from now on the discount will be equal to the price decrease of the mostly identical 2023 Bolt EV models….

I’d further expect a $6300 discount off the 2022 BOLT EUV from now on..

  5. There are 600+ Chevy Bolts on sale in dealerships, but most of them were priced high. You have to notify them about this price cuts to get a good deal.

Remember Nissan Leaf with 150 mile range starts at 27.5 K, but has a 7.5K fed rebate which makes it just 20K after rebate. So you can use this as negotiating point.
Ignore the Mini / Mazda EVs since these have very low range and were overpriced.

    1. wasting your time, there are no Bolts for sale in any dealership , plus the fact that their dealers are adding it right back on as a Market Ajustment

  6. What a deal ! You can buy a ’22 with replaced battery pak for the same price as a totally new ’23 – Dah !

  7. Yeah there is a price reduction of sorts on the 22 Bolt’s and Bolt EUV’s however, it is not really an actual price reduction, it is a Rebate for either $5900 on Bolt, or $6300 on Bolt EUV. Here is the catch though. If you take the rebate the vehicle cannot be leased using GM Financials supported lease, and you cannot use GM Financial Supported interest rates on a buy. So you would have to finance the vehicle using a commercial bank or credit union, or pay cash. Well in the Detroit Market pretty much all Bolts and EUV’s are leased. So this price reduction is really useless unless you planned to pay cash in the first place. Pretty Cold of GM to do this as many of these vehicles are more than a years old and still on Stop Sale as GM has not yet released all of them for the Battery replacement . The ones they had stored at the Lake Orion Plant since last summer in many cases have had the recalls done 3 months and more ago and they have still not delivered them to their dealers.

  12. anyone who pays over sticker price is an idiot, ive contacted half a dozen dealers and would have bought a Bolt, but they all are adding Market ajustments to the sitcker, which I will never pay , guess they think ill give in and pay it, but I wont, Im in no hurry and when the 2023 Kona electric comes out, ill be all over that, will have 800 kw charging speed, where the bolt only has 54, if the equinox ev doesnt come out with 800 speed charging , I doubt many will buy it
