The C8 Corvette has what it takes to bring exotic-flavored performance wherever it may go, strutting its stuff with mid-engine proportions and sharp styling right out of the box. Now, we’re watching as this upgraded C8 Corvette hits the streets of Southern California on a set of Vossen Forged HF-7 wheels.
The video is less than two minutes long, and shows the C8 Corvette both inside and outside, including detail shots and rolling shots in SoCal. The wheels in question are finished in Gloss Black and present a striking multi-spoke design that complements the factory C8 Corvette styling with sharp, straight lines and an angular layout. Sizing for the rollers is staggered at 20 inches by 9 inches in front and 21 inches by 12 inches in the rear. The Michelin tires wrapping the new wheels are sized at 240/30R20 in front and 325/25R21 in back.
Wheel sizing for the Vossen HF-7 line ranges between 19 inches and 24 inches in diameter, plus 8.5 inches and 12 inches in width. Two standard finishes are offered (Silver Polished, Gloss Black), while five custom finishes are also available. Wheel pricing starts at $599 per wheel.
Seeing this modified C8 Corvette out and about in Southern California fits just right, with the stark black-and-white color scheme playing well in conjunction with the blue skies and water. Check it out for yourself right here:
As a reminder, the C8 Corvette Stingray is motivated by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which is rated at 495 horsepower at 6,450 rpm and 470 pound-feet of torque at 5,150 rpm when fitted with the optional factory performance exhaust system. Output reaches the rear wheels via GM’s M1L eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Under the skin is the GM Y2 platform, while production takes place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.
