The online configurator tool for the 2023 Cadillac XT5 has gone live on the American luxury automaker’s website, allowing prospective buyers to create their own XT5, view a complete pricing summary and send their preferred configuration to a nearby dealership.
Per previous GM Authority coverage, the 2023 Cadillac XT5 drops three colors that were previously offered for the 2022 model year, including Satin Steel Metallic (paint code G9K) Dark Moon Blue Metallic (paint code GLU), and Infrared Tintcoat (paint code GSK). Replacing these colors are Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT), Opulent Blue Metallic (paint code GTR), and Argent Silver Metallic (paint code GXD). Argent Silver Metallic is a no-cost paint option on the XT5, whereas Radiant Red Tintcoat and Opulent Blue Metallic respectively carry price premiums of $1,225 and $625.
The 2023 Cadillac XT5 was originally set to receive a brand-new second generation for the 2023 model year, however, the generational overhaul was then delayed until the 2024 model year. The current first-generation crossover made its debut for 2017, with a refresh coming three years later for 2020. That means this will be the final model year before the XT5 gets a comprehensive redesign for next year.
As many GM Authority readers will already know, the Cadillac XT5 is offered with either the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, or the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both engines mate with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. The crossover rides on the GM C1 platform, with production for North America taking place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
The 2023 Cadillac XT5 began rolling off the assembly line on June 10th, 2022. Readers can access the online configurator for the crossover at this link.

That sound you don’t hear is people giving a crap about this car being available now
The photos of the 2024 XT4 refresh which includes
a whole new interior like large screens similar to the Escalade and Lyriq looks fantastic. I’m assumong the new 2024 XT5 will get the same interior treatment as well as the 2024 XT6.
