The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V offers a substantial boost in performance thanks to a supercharged powerplant and complementary upgrades to match. Notably, the new Escalade-V is offered in both a standard body style, as well as the extended-length Escalade ESV body style. Now, we’re checking out this 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV draped in Crystal White Tricoat paint thanks to the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
For those readers who be unaware, the “ESV” in Cadillac Escalade-V ESV stands for “Escalade Stretch Vehicle,” indicating the vehicle’s larger overall body style as compared to the non-ESV Escalade.
With regard to the exterior dimensions, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV is physically longer than the non-ESV model, both in terms of the wheelbase and the overall length. While the non-ESV Escalade-V has a wheelbase of 120.9 inches and an overall length of 211.9 inches, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV has a wheelbase that’s 134.1 inches and an overall length of 226.9 inches. Overall width is identical between the two at 81.1 inches, while overall height is a little shorter in the Escalade-V ESV, measured at76.4 inches versus 76.7 inches for the non-ESV model.
As we can see here, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV looks great in Crystal White Tricoat paint, with the bright finish playing well in combination with the go-fast model’s black trim bits. That includes a glossy black front grille, black window surrounds, and black inner graphics for the taillights. The wheels are 22 inches in diameter, and sport a unique design and dark finish.
As for what’s under the body panels, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV is motivated by the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, which provides the SUV with a maximum of 682 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 653 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. Muscle is sent to the ground via the GM 10-speed automatic transmission, which connects to a full-time all-wheel drive system. Under the body panels, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV rides on the same GM T1 platform as the standard-length model, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Just remember, if it wasn’t for CHEVROLET there’d be no CADILLACS. I suspect that every Cadillac has a Chevy platform and power train. It’s the same as Ford did for many years, dress up a ford by altering a few body panels and dressing up the interior and call it a Lincoln.
Not quite every. My gen II CTSV is underpinned by the sigma platform, unique to caddy, the CT6 was underpinned by omega, also unique to caddy. CT6V also had the 5.5 engine which was only on the 6V, and the northstar was never in a chevy. And I probably missed some. But most, yes, economies of scale.
Don’t pester him with facts. He still has trouble accepting his Lexus is a Toyota Century.
How about that performance package in a Tahoe 💪😍
