Sigala Designs Introduces C8 Corvette Full Carbon Fiber Interior: Video

San Diego, California-based company Sigala Designs has developed new carbon fiber interior trim panels for the C8 Corvette Stingray, enabling owners to transform their sports car’s interior into a carbon fiber-laden paradise.

Sigala Designs’ carbon fiber interior trim pieces for the C8 Corvette Stingray include door trim panels and speaker grille covers, the instrument panel binnacle, dash trim, center console trim and even the steering wheel and paddle shifters. The company says it “will be offering this full interior in many different carbon fiber patterns, colors, and finishes,” including the red carbon fiber weave pattern seen in the video embedded below. Details about these other patterns and colors aren’t available at the moment, but Sigala says it will provide updates through its website.

So far Sigala Designs has not provided pricing for its full carbon fiber interior, but it probably won’t come cheap. A small three-piece carbon fiber interior trim set from this company retails for $389 on its web store, so we imagine larger carbon fibre pieces like the center console trim, steering wheel and door trim panels will be quite pricy. On the bright side, Sigala’s products are made in the USA, just like the C8 Corvette Stingray, so owners can rest easy knowing these parts aren’t coming from a supplier with the lowest bid.

This is the same company that offers a rather wild-looking 32-piece widebody kit for the C8 Corvette Stingray, which it calls the C8RR. Perhaps one day we’ll eventually see a Corvette fitted with Sigala’s C8RR kit and its full carbon fiber interior. Now that would be a truly crazy build that would be all-too-appropriate for the over-the-top SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Check out the video embedded below to hear more about Sigala’s full carbon interior for the C8 Corvette from the owners of the company themselves.

  1. Unpopular opinion:

Carbon Fiber is glorified Plastic. It has its place structurally and for exterior aesthetics

Interiors need leather, aluminum, or wood. Not exposed weave.

  2. I wonder how it holds up in extreme heat? I too think it looks good in limited use only! Accent’s are fine but, the whole interior I don’t think so!

  3. Why would an owner want to cover up the leather and stainless areas that come on the LT3 package? I could not imagine having the top down and looking at a bunch of plastic/composite coverings rather than buff leather and stainless.

  4. Thumbs down on this design, imho.

  5. Way too much! Cut it back to limited parts and make it matte finish.
