Custom 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 HD Looks Great In Black And White: Video

There’s just something about a 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 HD with blacked-out exterior accents, and that’s exactly what one Sierra owner asked of the team at Dave Sinclair BuickGMC and the adjacent Dave Sinclair Customs shop to truly make the truck uniquely his own.

Perhaps the most notable aspect that really sets this custom job apart from the stock Sierra AT4 3500HD is the full chrome delete. The customer opted for a blacked-out grille treatment, giving the truck a sinister-looking maw that is perfectly accentuated by the custom white and black GMC logo fashioned in the center. The truck also sports blacked-out model and trim decals, but four were left the stock red color to add some focal points throughout the vehicle’s exterior.

The front windows are tinted with a ceramic tint, matching the rear windows and furthering the sporty, aggressive appearance to the heavy duty truck. The rear window is also tinted to complete the blacked-out greenhouse look, along with tinted wheel well turn signal indicators.

The St. Louis-based custom shop created unique contrast by blacking out the rear GMC logo on the truck’s tailgate, opposite of what’s seen on the truck’s front fascia. A cargo light kit was added to the bed, along with a gooseneck hitch and a Kicker Bluetooth tailgate stereo.

“That looks badass,” said Steve, the owner of this Sierra AT4 HD. “I like it… the finishing touches [added] to make it mine, so it doesn’t look like every other AT4 out there.”

As a reminder, the GMC Sierra AT4 HD has a choice of two engines. The 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine is tuned to produce 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbodiesel 6.6L V8 L5P, part of the Duramax engine family, is good for 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The gas engine connects to a six-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel bolts to the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission.

We’ve seen a few of Dave Sinclair’s builds in the past. Recently, the team performed a chrome delete among other aesthetic adjustments on another 2022 GMC Sierra. They also took a 2022 GMC Yukon Denali and transformed it into a two-tone work of art, along with other stunning custom vehicles.
