GM Authority photographers have managed to snap the first real-world photos of the 2023 Corvette Z06 equipped with the optional Stinger Stripe package.
This 2023 Corvette Z06 is a Coupe model finished in the Silver Flare Metallic exterior color (paint code GSJ) and decked out with the optional Carbon Flash/Edge Red Stinger Stripe set and Machine Face Z06 Spider wheels (RPO code SOD). These exterior stripes were introduced on the C8 Corvette Stingray for the 2021 model year and will be optional on all 2023 Corvette Stingray and Corvette Z06 trim levels. The Stinger Stripe set costs $500 to equip on the current 2022 Corvette Stingray.
In addition to the Carbon Flash/Edge Red combo, the Stinger Stripe set is also available in the following colorways (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Carbon Flash/Edge Yellow Stinger Stripe (DZU)
- Carbon Flash/Midnight Silver Stinger Stripe (DZV)
A variety of exterior customization options will be available for the 2023 Corvette Z06, just as with the current C8 Corvette Stingray. The 2023 model-year Corvette will also introduce a new 70th Anniversary Package, which will be offered on both Z06 and Stingray models. This limited-edition package will be available in two different exterior color combinations, along with other add-ons like 70th Anniversary badges, a White Ceramic interior with contrasting red stitching and red seat belts.
The 2023 Corvette Z06 will be available in both Coupe and Convertible body styles. Power will come from Chevy’s new race-bred, naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 engine, which produces 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, with power sent to the rear wheels by way of an upgraded eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The high-performance model will also be available with the Z07 Performance Package, which adds larger carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires, FE7 suspension with specially tuned Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 dampers and a full carbon fiber aero package.

When?????
After all the existing people have left planet earth, then GM will actually start selling the new Z06 to regular people.
I really do like the new wheel design and hope to obtain a set from the dealer at full price when available for my plain old Z51 C8 .
Bigger wheels than what’s on your current Vette, doubt they would fit within the wheel wells.
You would be surprised at how big a wheel can fit…try AEROLARRI for larger forged wheels (under $3K) that are a guarantee fit for all the C8s
All these different pictures we see of a new Z06 out and about? These are the actual production models owned by private citizens who are on a secret list that is allowed special things commoners are not allowed to have. Much like an Enzo Ferrari was only allowed to be sold to select clients, or a Ford GT come with strict rules about reselling. The Z06 is being delivered to an elite clientelle. And we are not them. Enjoy your day.
You sir, are full of baloney.
False!…well, True… just that, the elite clientele is associated with the elite corporation that created this elite American production vehicle. Which really has nothing wrong with the appearance of its ass end. Especially now that the exhaust is back where it should be.
Silly man/woman or binary confused…
Enough with the teasing already. What’s the pricing and when will the order book open.
