2023 Chevy S10 And TrailBlazer SUV Launched In Brazil

General Motors has revealed the 2023 Chevy S10 and TrailBlazer SUV that will be sold exclusively in Brazil, the only country in the world where this global-market midsize pickup truck and its SUV variant are currently manufactured. The automaker introduced minor changes on both vehicles for the new model year, which will probably be the last before the arrival of the next-generation models.

The 2023 Chevy S10 and TrailBlazer SUV have just been unveiled at the 2022 Agrishow in Brazil, one of the world’s largest agricultural and technology fairs, and the largest agribusiness expo in all of Latin America. At this event, the automaker’s local subsidiary introduced its latest connectivity technologies to keep these vehicles attractive, for its main target audience in the Brazilian market.

The 2023 Chevy S10 and TrailBlazer SUV are launched in Brazil with an improved connectivity package that includes an integrated Spotify app along with a free year of OnStar and Wi-Fi connectivity. These additions not only make the drive more enjoyable for users, but they also reinforce the S10 and TrailBlazer SUV’s positioning as the vehicles with the most complete and advanced connectivity in their respective categories.

Additionally, customers who purchase the 2023 Chevy S10 and TrailBlazer SUV will receive a special Non-Stop Mobility tag with a free 12-month membership. The Non-Stop tag is an automatic payment system in Brazil that makes life easier for owners when going through tolls, parking lots and gas stations, for example, avoiding queues for payment.

Externally, the 2023 Chevy S10 and TrailBlazer keep the same design from the previous model year and the same styling cues introduced with the most recent facelift. Likewise, both models keep their respective trim levels and the same Duramax turbo-diesel 2.8L I4 XLD28 engine with 200 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2023 Chevy S10 and TrailBlazer SUV will be available at official Chevrolet dealers in Brazil starting next month. GM Brazil will perform special test drive activities on an off-road track in the 2022 Agrishow, where visitors will have the opportunity to evaluate all the attributes of the midsize pickup and SUV as well. The models are manufactured exclusively at the GM São José dos Campos plant.

        1. Obviously you don’t understand the story.

The GMT 31XX platform is currently manufactured in two places: the US and Brazil. The US factory produces NAFTA-spec Colorado/Canyons. The Brazil factory makes Mercosur-spec S10s. (There was a Thailand factory making RHD Holden Colorado/HSV SportsCat/local-spec Colorado until 2020)

The fact that there’s two factories making two variants with two different names doesn’t make them not the same fundamental vehicle.
