The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V will no longer be available with three paint colors that were previously offered for the 2022 model year, GM Authority has learned.
The following three exterior colors will not be available to order with the Cadillac CT4-V for the 2023 model year (relevant GM paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Satin Steel Metallic (paint code G9K)
- Shadow Metallic (paint code GJI)
- Infrared Tintcoat (paint code GSK)
Satin Steel Metallic and Shadow Metallic cost $625 to apply to the 2022 model year Cadillac CT4-V, while Infrared Tintcoat is a $1,225 premium paint option. These three colors will also be dropped from the regular Cadillac CT4 order books for 2023, as GM Authority reported previously, along with Diamond Sky Metallic and Garnet Metallic. The Diamond Sky Special Edition Package will also be dropped for the 2023 model year.
However, the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V will be available with the following new paint colors:
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT)
- Argent Silver Metallic (paint code GXD)
- Midnight Steel Metallic (paint code GXU)
The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V is available with a single engine option: the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, which is rated at 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The GM 10-speed automatic transmission is standard across the board. The sedan rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform and is produced alongside the standard Cadillac CT4 and CT4-V Blackwing, the Cadillac CT5 sedan and the Chevy Camaro sports coupe at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
GM was forced to halt production of the 2022 Cadillac CT4 and CT4-V in early April due to an undisclosed parts shortage, but production of the luxury sedan resumed shortly after. GM Authority will have more details on the 2023 model year Cadillac CT4 lineup as soon as they become available.
