2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate In Quicksilver Metallic: Live Photo Gallery

Without a doubt, one of the biggest headlines to come out of the debut of the fully refreshed 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 last October was the introduction of the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate, the new range-topping trim level practically dripping with features and content. Last week, we brought you detailed shots of the 2022 Sierra Denali Ultimate in Titanium Rush Metallic. In today’s GM Authority Live Photo Gallery, we’re taking a closer look at the Sierra Denali Ultimate in Quicksilver Metallic (paint code GAN).

Outside, we find the restyled body lines of the refreshed GMC Sierra 1500 complemented by a range of unique styling bits specific to the new Sierra Denali Ultimate trim level. That includes the front end, which is equipped with a unique Vader Chrome grille finish that sets the Sierra Denali Ultimate apart from the bright chrome of the “standard” Sierra Denali trim level.

Lower in the fascia, we see a polished chrome treatment applied to the bumper surrounds, as well as the two recovery hooks, while the Vader Chrome treatment is continued with the front fender trim and GMC logo.

Viewed in profile, this 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate rides on trim-exclusive 22-inch wheels with a Low Gloss Black finish and Machined accents, wrapped in 275/50R22SL all-season tires. You’ll also notice the polished chrome sideview mirror caps, which work nicely with the chrome Denali badge, door handles, and window surrounds.

Finally, the rear end completes the look with a Chrome Vader GMC badge on the tailgate. What’s more, the Sierra Denali Ultimate trim level is equipped as standard with the MultiPro tailgate as well as the CarbonPro Carbon Fiber Composite box (RPO code E3Z).

As for what’s under the hood, this particular 2022 GMC Sierra Sierra Denali Ultimate is equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which is standard for Denali Ultimate, although customers can also opt for the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodeisel Duramax if they so choose. Under the body panels, the GMC Sierra 1500 rides on the GM T1 platform. Production of the 2022 Sierra 1500 family takes place at the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana and GM Silao plant in Mexico.
