The fully refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 ushers in a wealth of changes and updates for the light-duty pickup, including new, modernized exterior styling. Now, we’re checking out this 2022 Chevy Silverado High Country hitting the road in Silver Ice Metallic paint, as featured in the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
Spotting a 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country in Silver Ice Metallic is particularly noteworthy, as Silver Ice Metallic paint is available on all trim levels of the refreshed Silverado 1500 except High Country. To note, Silver Ice Metallic paint is tagged with paint code GAN, and is available on the rest of the trim-level lineup for no extra charge.
Normally, the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country is offered in the following five paint options (relevant paint code listed in parentheses):

Beyond the paint, the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country features a body-color front bumper and rear bumper, body-color painted mirror caps, chrome recovery hooks, and chrome door handles. This particular example is also riding on optional 22-inch painted aluminum wheels with Chrome inserts, tagged with RPO code RPT.

Hoping to see the silver ice metallic color return for the refreshed 2024 MY Suburban.
Same here. It’s the best color they had on the suburban.
The horizontal fog lights are ugly! The ones on my 2018 are vertical they look really nice.
Bumper step is much smaller too.
I just caught that, the early prototypes had the Corner Steps of the outgoing models, this current update makes it look a little odd.
Wish they would make the regular cab look this nice! Hate the ugly cheap front facia on the work truck and custom!
I agree, but this isn’t a work truck. They intentionally made their flagship truck look different to help justify its higher price.
I agree it’s not a work truck, but they still could make the regular cab in an LT they didn’t have to change the front facia to look this bad for a regular cab.
I took possession of a High Country 2500HD 4WD last week, however mine in red cherry tintcoat. The absolute the nicest truck I’ve ever owned. I love this truck, although I’ve only put 200 miles on it so far.
