The 2022 Cadillac Escalade recently received a second price increase, GM Authority has learned.

Following this change, the Escalade in the entry-level Luxury trim with the standard 6.2L L87 V8 gasoline engine and rear-wheel drive will start at $79,590, while the Premium Luxury trim will start at $88,390. The Sport trim with the same engine/drivetrain combination will be priced from $91,390, while the Premium Luxury Platinum and Sports Platinum will both now start at $105,890. Customers can add all-wheel drive to any Escalade trim for a $3,000 price premium.
GM previously offered Super Cruise as standard equipment on the Escalade in the Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum trims, however it recently made Super Cruise a $2,500 standalone option on these trim levels. Unfortunately, Super Cruise is currently unavailable to order on the Escalade due to the semiconductor chip shortage. GM has not said when the hands-free driving tech will return to the full-size SUV’s order books.
The current, fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade is available with two engine options, including the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax. It rides on the GM T1 body-on-frame platform, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
Sales of the Cadillac Escalade rose 6.7 percent in Q1 2022 to 10,505 units, giving the nameplate a commanding lead in the full-size luxury SUV segment. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer was second in the segment with sales of 3,169 units, which was less than a third as many as the Escalade, while the Lincoln Navigator was third with 2,148 units sold.
