Take An Exterior Tour Of The 2023 Corvette Z06 At NYIAS: Video

The 2022 New York International Auto Show has now come and gone, and while the GM-owned Cadillac, Buick and GMC brands were not in attendance, Chevy brought a rather noteworthy collection of products like the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV, as well as two different examples of the 2023 Corvette Z06 – the latter of which GM Authority was able to film a full walkaround video of.

The first of these 2023 Corvette Z06 models is a targa-topped Coupe finished in the Silver Flare Metallic exterior color and with the new Adrenaline Red Dipped Napa leather interior. It also features the available Titanium Machine Face ‘Spider’ wheel design and red-painted brake calipers. Sharp-eyed readers may notice in our video that this car is equipped with the available Brembo carbon ceramic brake package. This brake upgrade can be equipped by way of the Z07 Performance Package, however it’s also available as a standalone option.

The 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible that was on display at the show, meanwhile, was finished in Arctic White and featured the available Z07 Performance Package with the optional Exposed Carbon Fiber five-spoke wheel design. This car also features yellow brake calipers and a Jet Black interior with contrasting yellow stitching and yellow seat belts.

All Z07-equipped 2023 Corvette Z06 models will come with a full carbon fiber aero package, which includes that impossible-to-miss rear wing, Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with 15.7-inch front rotors and 15.4-inch rear rotors. These models will also receive unique FE7 suspension tuning with specific calibrations for the Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 dampers.

Whether it’s a targa top Coupe or a Convertible, all 2023 Corvette Z06s will come standard with GM’s naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, which is rated at 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Production will take place at the GM Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky, which will begin on May 16th for the Corvette Stingray. The production start date for the Z06 has yet to be determined. In the meantime, check out the video embedded below to for a full walkaround tour of this new C8 Corvette variant.
