No GMC Savana Discount Offers In April 2022

GMC Savana discount offers are once again non-existent in April 2022. While interest-free financing for the full-size passenger and cargo van was available at the beginning of the year, this incentive is no longer available.

GMC Savana Discount Offers

There are no GMC Savana discount offers during the month of April, and no special financing or lease incentives either. The Professional Grade brand is referring customers to its dealerships for more details on purchase and finance options for the Savana.

GMC Savana Pricing

For reference, 2021 and 2022 GMC Savana configurations, trim levels, and their corresponding starting MSRPs are as follows, $1,295 destination freight charge included:

Passenger

  • LS – $38,495
  • LT – $40,595

Cargo

  • Work Van – $34,295

The 2022 GMC Savana represents the 19th model year of the nameplate. Both the passenger and cargo vans ride on the GM GMT 610 platform, and offer identical powertrain options, which include the 4.3L V6 LV1, 6.0L V8 L96, 6.0L V8 LC8, and Duramax turbo-diesel 2.8L LWN I4 engines. Notably, both 6.0-liter eight-cylinder engine options have been deleted for the 2021 model year, and replaced by the 6.6L V8 L8T engine, along with other minor changes and updates for the 2021 GMC Savana.

The Savana’s platform twin, the Chevy Express, will continue to be sold through the 2023 calendar year. GM has provisions to extend production through 2025, if it deems necessary. Each model year will likely include minor changes, updates, and improvements, which has been the case since the inception of the current models. Those same plans will most likely apply to the GMC Savana.

In the meantime, several all-new battery-electric models are on the way to replace the two models. First will be the BrightDrop Zevo 600 (formerly known as the EV600) and the BrightDrop Zevo 400 (formerly known as the EV410). These will be followed with a future electric Chevy commercial van, whose name has yet to be revealed. It’s currently unclear whether GM will offer a GMC version.

  1. there is no way they discontinue these for EV vans anytime soon. People will still need gas vans for a long time. Stop it. If anything, GM should have developed a new van chassis for this a few years ago like Ford did with the Transit.
