Back in 2020, we shared a video put together by a group of rather crazy car YouTubers who go by the name of Garage 54, which saw the, install a set of ridiculous-looking 13-inch wheels on a Hummer H2. Now the Russian-based channel is back with another crazy idea involving a GM vehicle – although this time the team has traded their Hummer H2 for a fifth-generation Chevy Camaro.
In this video, Garage 54 attempts to powerwash their dusty and dirty Chevy Camaro while it’s in motion. Russian roads have a bit of a reputation for lawlessness, but not even Garage 54 is crazy enough to attempt this on public streets. To attempt this stunt, they go to a racetrack called Autodrom Kuzbass, which allows them to perform this stunt relatively safely. Of course, it should go without saying that you should not try to powerwash your vehicle while it’s in motion, even if you’ve rented out an empty racetrack for the day, but Garage 54 is pretty experienced when it comes to vehicular based stunts like this.
The host of Garage 54, Vlad, does a pretty thorough job washing his Chevy Camaro – despite the fact that they are moving down the track at about 30 mph or so. He manages to cover the car in pink soap from an adjacent van before switching his powerwasher to the water setting and spraying the grime way. He even hangs out of the van to spray the vehicle’s roof down at one point. To dry the car off, Vlad simply has his friend take it for a few laps around the track at speed – with the wind wicking away the water and leaving the Chevy looking as shiny as can be.
Check out this rather funny video embedded below and remember, if you need your car cleaned, it’s best to do it while the vehicle is stationary.
