Me personally I like the 2.7t but everyone’s not me. IMO the 4.8 needs to return as an free or small upcharge engine around 340 hp over the 2.7t, the 5.3 can be updated to around 380 hp. I suggest this so GM can dominate in the base / affordable pickup field.
The 4.8 never had AFM and went away when 4L60E did also.
Emissions and fuel economy prevents getting more power out of a 5.3.
Ok, 2 tunes of the 5.3. one 350 hp and 385 hp or so if the 4.8 isn’t feasible anymore. Ram is currently the king of affordable trucks, bring the fight to em.
Wow, what a deal. Where do l go to get one?
What’s with the “some customers may not qualify for discounts……..” stuff? What qualifications would someone need? It seems to me that if someone wants to buy a truck, sell them a damn truck, discounts and all. If I went into a dealership and a salesperson said to me “Sorry, you don’t qualify”,I’d simply say “OK,see ya” and head for a Ford store.
You probably need somewhere around a 800 credit score for the financing specials, that is mainly what they are referring to,
Sure and find nothing but 3.3 power construction specials unless you really to spend more than $40k.
Discounts mean nothing if you can not get delivery? New refreshed truck by May 2? BS
I ordered my 2022 refresh on 2/10/22 and was just told its built and have the vin. They now expect it on April 19. Maybe they will start rolling out soon.
I saw a 2022 refreshed Silverado High Country at a restaurant parking lot in the Denver area yesterday. It had Albuquerque, NM dealer plates on it.
Was it white?
Black! It really looked nice, I just wish they’d tone down the chrome on the HC.
GMA quit mentioning 2.7T discounts.
They are on every window sticker and it is a deceptive way of gm charging extra for optional engines without some people realizing it.
I ordered a new style 2022 Silverado in December 2021 and still don’t know when it will get here . So nice to offer discounts when you can get the truck.
