Chevy Pickup Truck Fest To Visit 10 Cities In Mexico

The Chevy Pickup Truck Fest kicked off in Mexico on Friday, April 29th, bringing the Bow Tie’s portfolio of pickup trucks for display across 10 cities across the North American country.

Attendees of the Chevy Pickup Fest are invited to partake in a variety of activities centered around the brand’s pickup offerings. There’s a showroom, of course, which encourages attendees to get a closer look at vehicles such as the refreshed Chevy Silverado in Turbo and High Country trim, the new Cheyenne ZR2 as well as the Chevy Colorado Z71 and S10 Max, the latter of which is a new pickup offered exclusively in the Mexican market.

Additionally, show-goers can schedule a test drive in any of the aforementioned vehicles, which puts them in the passenger seat beside a professional driver who will take them on a course both on and off road. Off-road test drives will show off the various pickups’ entry and exit angles, as well as demonstrate the load and work capabilities of the trucks.

There is also an OnStar Zone, which showcases the technology’s capabilities, such as the ability to immediately connect with advisors for support, security, and connectivity. Show-goers are also able to browse a selection of accessories available to be equipped on the Chevy pickup range. GM Financial will also be present to help potential buyers learn what financing plans and other offers are available to them. There’s even a children’s area with a Batman theme.

“At Chevrolet, we are very happy to be able to be close to our customers in the main places of commercialization of pickups, and to let them know our value through safe and secure on- and off-road driving experiences,” said Yammil Guaida, Chevrolet Marketing Manager in a translated press release.

The exhibition began today in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, where it will run through the weekend. The Chevy Pickup Truck Fest will travel across 10 cities in Mexico from April through June, and more venues and details will be revealed on the exhibition’s website in the near future.
