Check Out This Satin-Wrapped 2022 GMC Yukon Denali: Video

A St. Louis, Missouri-based company called VIP Auto Accessories has just completed work on a customer’s 2022 GMC Yukon Denali, giving the vehicle a mean-looking, blacked-out exterior appearance with a satin black vinyl wrap and other minor cosmetic modifications.

A video posted to VIP Auto Accessories’ official YouTube page provides a brief rundown of the modifications that were made to this 2022 GMC Yukon Denali. Some highlights of this blacked-out build include the aforementioned 3M2080 satin black exterior vinyl wrap, a GMC accessories illuminated emblem, a gloss black painted grille, gloss black painted fog light bezels, gloss black painted body side mouldings, gloss black painted door handles, powder-coated 22-inch GMC wheels, red-painted brake callipers, black roof rails, painted emblems and gloss black exhaust tips.

The result of these modifications is a full exterior chrome delete of this 2022 GMC Yukon Denali, giving the owner all the luxurious amenities of the Denali trim level but with a blacked-out exterior appearance that would otherwise not be possible to get from the factory. As many readers will already know, the GMC Yukon Denali is only offered with an abundance of chrome exterior trim. While chrome is the preferred trim finish for many luxury vehicle buyers, gloss black trim is becoming more popular among customers on high-end vehicles like the Yukon Denali.

As a reminder, the GMC Yukon Denali comes standard with the GM naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, rated at 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm and is also offered with the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax, rated at 277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Each engine option connects to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. This latest fifth-generation GMC Yukon rides on the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
