The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV introduces a new body style to the ground-pounding, all-electric Hummer lineup, complementing the first-to-market pickup model with a closed-off rear section and expanded interior room. Now, we’re checking out this 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV spotted on the road in near-showroom-ready condition.
For those GM Authority readers who may have missed it, we brought you the first photos of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV on real-life roads back in November. However, that particular model was equipped with the Extreme Off-Road Package, while the model featured here is not.
The body panels on this particular example are finished in Interstellar White, offset by black detailing for the roof, fenders, and front fascia, all of which gives the SUV a crisp, clean appearance and underlines the model’s boxy lines.
This 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV rolls on a set of optional 23-inch wheels, which look impressive when mounted on the high-riding all-electric Hummer. Standard spec throws in a set of 22-inch wheels, while the Extreme Off-Road package includes 18-inch wheels.
The Extreme Off-Road package also includes rock sliders, which this vehicle does not have. Notably, this particular example does not include any assist steps whatsoever, which makes for a somewhat bizarre profile view with large spacing on either side of the SUV. The spacing makes us think there is plenty of room for step-ups.
This particular example appears to be the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV EV3X model, which slots in just below the Edition 1 as the penultimate trim in the Hummer EV SUV lineup. Pricing starts at $99,995.
As for the motivation, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV EV3X is equipped with a three-motor powertrain producing 800 horsepower and 9,500 pound-feet of torque, capable of covering over 300 miles between plugs. A 625-horsepower dual-motor power train is offered lower in the trim level cadence, while the Edition 1 gets the three motors and 1,000 horsepower.
Under the skin is the GM BT1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant (previously known as Detroit-Hamtramck) in Michigan.
To note, GM Authority also brought you photos of the Hummer EV SUV in Black for those interested in seeing this thing in a different color.

I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these
Now that is what you call Fugly!
Way better than the truck. Best thing at GM in ages with the C8.
Why does everyone say “this” is better than the truck, I think the truck is way cooler!
I do like the dark taillights on both the suv and truck though, not like, love!
Very nice, too bad they don’t have a gas or diesel option!
GM needs to start getting these built asap
Mary Barra said GM was the EV leader…
Who knew she meant the leader in weight.
At least she wasn’t Lying, this time.
I guess going the so called green way, means making vehicles almost twice as heavy as their fossil fuel counterparts!
Even though it is only slightly, I don’t care for the sloped roofline. Really, what does it really matter on something that is so heavy. So much for the green movement!
GM didn’t build a gas/ diesel as the sales would have blown the (energizing bunny ) unit our of the water!
I owned one of the first 2003 H2 Hummers and kept it 15 yrs
Best dam GM vehicle I ever owned…..seriously!
I have a (new) 2020 Silverado (gas) 6.2 4×4 High Country and it’s a great truck….but I’d jump all over a new gas Hummer……believe that!
I wish the interior was more luxurious like an Escalade or a Navigator. I’m still considering the Hummer but I think it’ll be very hard for me to pull the plug on it over an Escalade. For the price, a 3rd row option should be included as well.
